Since 1994, DSC conferences organized in France are an international event where researchers, engineers and users concerned by the state of the art in use and development of driving simulation exchange ideas and experiences. From 2003 on, their name changes to DSC Europe, and they are coordinated with HCTSC (Human Centered Transportation Simulation Conference) North-American conference, held for the first time in November 2001, now called DSC North America. DSC Europe and DSC North America will be held every two years, DSC Europe on even-numbered years and DSC North America on odd-numbered years. In May 2006, the first DSC Asia Pacific conference was held in Japan. The last DSC Europe conference was held in Paris 4-6 October 2006. Within the framework of this coordination events in the field of driving simulation (workshops, demonstrations) will be organized.
